Family Forward Resource Center
Families Forward Resource Center (FFRC) has been strengthening families in northeast metro Denver and Aurora since 1995. We believe strong families are the key to strong communities. Families Forward Resource Center (FFRC) is a full service community service center providing supportive services and programs to northeast Denver and north Aurora, CO. FFRC operates as a collaborative organization. No matter what need comes up, either FFRC is prepared to address it, or we have a partnership in place that can provide the necessary support.
As a non-profit 501(c)3, we rely on funders, donors, fundraisers, volunteers, and supporters in order to operate and fulfill our mission of creating strong communities by creating strong families.
Kathy Kamp, Summer Camp
Each summer for over 23 years, Families Forward Resource Center has run a full-service, full-experience summer camp called Kathy's Kamp. Kathy's Kamp provides a low-cost option for child-care throughout the summer months and offers a rewarding, social, and educational experience for over 150 daily participants. The camp schedule offers flexibility for parent's schedules. CCAP is accepted and breakfast and lunch are provided by Denver Public Schools.
Kathy's Kamp was named after our founder, Kathy Hill-Young. Families Forward Resource Center is a licensed Child Care Provider.
Registration packets are now available online! Please note, your child’s spot is not guaranteed until the one time registration fee is paid and processed.
We will only be hosting one camp location this year which will be Kathy’s Kamp GVR. Kathy’s Kamp will run from June 10, 2018 thru July 26, 2019.
